the local lad's will remember billy craiggs who sadly passed away after a long illness,
after serving in the navy, and boxing all over the world , he then formed blyth boy's club, dragging kid's from street corner's upto no good and teaching them the art of queensberry.
he then wen't onto coach at the dolphin in newbiggin, many good boxer's came from that gym.
after that he coached at the empire in blyth, now there's a gym that produced star's.
and finally he coached the british Olympic team.
he once told me that he had 177 fight's unbeaten, in or out the ring....!
