  • 18 gauge.,wire.

    got a chance of buying some of the above.just wondering is it any good for grip leads.ie to thick or thin ?..think its 6mm,ive usually bought.oops sorry 1.6mm wires.

    reg that is only about 1 mm thick

    i think 18 gauge we use it to check our thread sizes that we have turned on a lathe with a 1mm pitch

      .thankyou for reply fishy.eod fishy all im after is some wires for g/leads.as mentioned can buy some 18 gauge{WHAT EVER THEY ARE}.im a foot @inches bloke,lol.so ill refrace post.any body got any welding rod suitable for g/leads for sale.thanks again for reply,atb for 2017 tight lines..

        Hi Reg 18 gauge is 1mm standard shop grip wire
        most stainless steal mig wire is 1.6mm which I use
        for the baitclip tops and also for super strong grips.

              .i davey 3oz leads.the holes in that mould are slightly smaller than the rest of my g/l moulds.i use the 3s in the river with lighter rod.but i also sell alot of them to POLES,as in english.lol..ps,lookslike your back at work already.can you raid the stores,ill gladly buy a tube full off you.could meet up say blyth docks entrance..

                            al help anyone if a can, but reg am a tig welder so 1.6, 2.4, 3.2 would suite me. anyway black and white/red and white/blue and white.
                            make's no diference to me lad's.
