If we all went on the basis that we have to support local teams there wouldn\'t be as much money going into clubs. Why were Newcastle trying to court the attentions of the Thai prime minister a few seasons back?To get a foothold in the Asian fan market.
As a Man Utd fan I\'ve probably been to as many home games as the majority of Newcastle fans I know who live in Alnwick.
What of the Bosnian guy in the paper last week travelling to Lisbon for the Euro tie. Surely he should support some Bosnian team.
Newcastle fans should be focusing their attentions on their sorry excuse for a team who have consistently let down some of the most loyal fans in the world.
My 66 year old mother, a season ticket holder at St james for the past 7years paid to go and see that game. The woman is a pensioner on the bread line who cares more about her team than owt else. Even as a Man Utd fan I feel totally gutted for her not just for the result but for the effort the Newcastle put in yesterday.
The only player who could possibly hold is head up was Shearer.
"And I looked, and behold'a pale horse; and his name that sat on him was death, and hell followed with hi, and power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword and with hunger, and with the beasts of the earth"

Lol Alan....I was warned b4 she left not to phone her or me brother if we went one up.....She never follows the same advice if the Toon beat us tho. I have to just take it!
I left home years ago but only since I left home has the footie ever become an issue. I think its coz I always threatened to knock me bothers head off if he got in me face after a defeat... He must\'ve felt braver having the distance between us.
That\'s what it\'s all about tho the banter. Monday mornings at work would be pretty boring without a bit of diversity!

I hear the Vatican sent a special thank you to Newcastle fans for their dedication for the pope. 45 minutes of silence in the second half.
As I have grown older, I've learned that pleasing everyone is impossible,
but P*****g everyone off is a piece of cake.

I remember going into me local that day, full of confidence that the mighty reds were gonna stuff the Toon.Lol. Must be the most embarassing footie match I\'ve ever watched, we were supposed to be in our prime, the best club in the land....Humbled by Newcastle. Difference then was the Toon played with their hearts and I believe that, sometimes....not all the time that can make all the difference between winning and losing. Look at lowly Norwich last weekend, played their hearts out and beat us 2-0.
Truth is footie is being ruined with money. We are now being held to ransom by Rio Ferdinands agent coz he thinks he\'s the best defender in the worldand should be paid 120,000 per week. Unbelievable

Something must have happened on that last trip away because since we got back there has been no spirit at the club and then the fight confirmed it.
