Hi lads,just returned from st abbs after a weeks fishing in the borders after 20 years
I have discovered a number of things,i am now twice the size i was 20 years ago and climbing hairy ness and descending to st abbs head is an experience within itself,we used to just stroll jump and leap
there are a number of noises i have discovered that my body never used to make in my youth
1) PEDDUMMPPHH.....The noise a well layered backside makes when it hits the rocks after breaking 50ilb line out of a snag(also see bolloxtoit,the noise made when discovering your snagged)
2)TWANGY....the noise your hamstrings make on a 200ft ascent of st abbs head
3)SPLINGE.....the noise your brain makes when you take your lass out for her
first ever charter trip and she lands an 8lb cod to win the sweepstake
4)SPLUTTERSPLOOSHOWWWW......casting with a scarboro reel into the kelp
when youve never done it before
