Since the wife got her bird feeder station we get one on a regular basis sitting in the honeysuckle waiting for an un-suspecting meal. Never have a camera ready to capture that momemnt and when its sat still in the honeysuckle its hard to spot let alone get it in the view finder.
if you try and get it in the honeysuckle, set your camera to a single focus point, otherwise they will focus on the twigs around, or use manual focus
Just seen one today, from a distance, Mill Dam car park .... lush, was probably lookin for some innocent little tweety pie for a snack.
Made 3 or 4 attacks but didn't get lucky yet.
Just moved up into the countryside not long ago,had one sitting on the fence wife asked what it was,when i told her it turned and i told her thats its dinner underneath (a robin) look of shock on her face as she loves her robins.
