Has anyone had a text from a number telling you that you\'ve unredeemed bonus points on their account? They give you a 0871 number to ring and a Identifier code. to redeem the points.
I got that text message as well. I get them every 9 month or so.....do not ring them as it is a scam. When I first got the text I queried it with o2 and that is what they told me.
Also. Beware of telecoms companies that ring on the mobile saying that they have passed your number by the shop that sold you the phone. The shop that I got my phone from said that they are not allowed to sell of pass on any personal telephone numbers unless order to by a court.
The only people that have my number is people that I give it to therefore there name/number should be displayed on my/your mobile when it rings, same goes for text messages
had one similar from virgin but not virgin if you get my drift ,turns out to get these so called bonuses you have to subscribe to a service at 3quid a week or something ,total con as it costs about £6:50 to find out you dont want it
