I don’t know why people bite over the Sunderland/Newcastle things, the people work and live in the same area doing the same things...in my office now i have 3 toon fans, 1 Boro and 4 Sunderland...we work and live within 12 miles of each other so picking on culture differences is pointless as apart from the odd accent difference were the same people.

As for the football teams we are both average teams hoping for at best UEFA spot or a good cup run and most years one or both of us start the season with the main goal not to be relegated....neither team has won anything for a while, neither team has played in Europe for a while but we get good support in the stands. (not Boro mind)

My prediction for Sunday,Newcastle 1 Sunderland 1 with Sunderland to score first and Newcastle to step up the game in the last 1/4 of the match when the fans step up the volume.
