Cheers Jim, Best Holiday I\'ve ever had.

I couldn\'t fault the place, people or experience.

It is an amazing part of the world.

There is hardly any damage in the South Atolls where we were, however the areas are suffering due to people canceling, (me for one ashamedly ). 74% of their income is tourism.

We were diving with Mantas which were that close they flicked my head with there wings, I\'ve got some photos of them which I\'ll post when I\'ve resized them. I dived with them in Egypt last year but they were babys compared to these. 6-7 metres width and 3/4 metre girth, **** mesel when they appeared, 19 of them dancing in formation.

The Island we were on was dead as a door nail which was great for us but bad for the hotel group, You could lye on the beach for 2 hours and not see a soul and the whole island was only 600m x 100m in total. (only 22% occupied though ) this place needs tourists back, and from our experience they deserve it.

We visited 5 islands altogether and every single person we met from India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Bangladesh and the Maldives deserve a medal for their courage.

Beautiful people, Beautiful part of the world and an amazing place.

Sounds incredible mate. Must have a bit crack with you sometime as Yvonne (she who must be obeyed) and I are are fancying somewhere different.
