Malcolm Hardee, very funny man.


Knew him well. Not that different to Hunter S.
What a shame, fell in the Thames never came out. His mates put a life belt and L plate on his coffin.

you would think he would have tied his house boat to his floating pub,bit like crossing the M25 to go to work every day ! Just asking for trouble

Not Malcolm. Oh no!

I re-painted one of his old boats after a mate of mine bought it off him. It was an ex thames police launch and he\'d called it \"Oi Oi\" big skull and cross bones on the side. My mate said, \"Ell I want you to paint it back up to look like like a police boat, it\'ll be good fun coming alongside other boats and scaring the poo out of them\" I said \" But surely that\'s illegal and you will get put in prison\" He said \"Paint the boat!\"

The same man drove a second hand black cab with a sword under the seat. And arrived at his wedding reception (Greenwich Yacht Club) in a Bugsy Malone car with the Reg. \"Gangster\" He drove it for 3 months after until he got telt off.

I think he may have killed some people as well.

Greenwich yacht club sounds nice, at the time it was basically a very down market affair. the Milleniium consortium needed the \"Land\" for 2000 and bought them out for an absolute mint, relocated them not too far away, built them a state of the art clubhouse and filled the coffers. Tax payers money but a result for the lads.
