lost pms ???

seems a couple of my pms sent to me went over my head and i didnt find them till i checked my profile ,,any reason why they didnt show up in my notification doofer down on the left below my log in details ???

A lot of the PMs I get go over my head, anyway (?????).......lol

what happend tony was i got a e-mail from eltons server to say i had a new message ? its only happend 3 times but when i clicked messages there was nowt there,i was checking my profile last night becouse alan was saying the hide online status tab didnt work and why wasnt my name showing ?pass lol becouse i could see it.anyway while i was there i noticed you have 2 messages,they had gone into my inbox thingy but didnt show in my you have ?? private messages bit or in the private messages menu ,it seems that the message settings in profile are seperate from the message settings on the board or the link between the 2 is having a bit bother

I\'ve never been notified of any pm\'s,I have the box checked as well,I used to get notified on the old site

I searched high and low on here last night for a certain pm but it wasn\'t there. Only read it earlier in the day. It turned up again this morning thank goodness.

Can\'t understand that happening at all........Missing PM\'s?.....I guess that could happen.....but for it to turn up as an e-mail ???........perhaps a bit of cross-pollination going on....lol.

We\'ll be getting EM\'S and p-mails next !

Jim, you you didn\'t get it as an e-mail in the 1st place and later THOUGHT it was a PM, did you?.......I\'ve done THAT a few times (and vice-versa)......spent ages looking for an e-mail (in 5 different e-mail accounts)....only to then realise that what I was looking for was a PM I\'d recieved. (personally, I blamed either the John Smiths or the Captain Morgan.....lol)

Sorry Tony that is exactly what I meant lol. Wasn\'t anything to do with the demon either as I had been to work.
I was just convinced that it was a pm, then I got up this morning and remembered, how I laughed. Didn\'t feel very stupid either, but was happy I found it lol.
