Newcastle down, I mean what's the world coming to....

Question is will Rafa stay or do a one, probably the latter but you never know. If he does stay one things for sure, he will have to give the deadbeats in the team the hoof and there's lots of them. Ashley could make the man an offer he maybe couldn't refuse or maybe, regardless of offers from the club, Benitez has already a future arranged elsewhere, probably find out next week. Personally I'll be made up if the guy stays.

Don't think Everton is an option, he is loved too much by Liverpool still. For the first time in years we get a glimpse of what a top class manager can do with a mainly useless team. With his connections, reputation and if given the backing Rata could transform this shambles into something truly stunning. The long suffering fans desperately need some pride restoring.

Let's hope he gets the promises and stays.

Why does a thread about Rafa end up being about Sunderland struggling next season? I thought we were the ones obsessed with our rivals?
                      Cheers, Keith.

yes, I was just about to post why the thread had gone off course but if you look back you will see this was kicked off by so called sunderland supporters.

Perfect way to end the season (apart from a certain bad tackle ) Rafa looked pleased and the fans showed their love. Down to the powers that be to persuade and reassure him and I know we will eventually have something to shout about soon.

That banner was a bit tasteless

shame rafa wasn't there from the start gonna miss the derbys even though that lot down the road had the better of the games but its going to be interesting to see how both sides fair next season
