      the new camera mate, was shot at 45mm AF on ISO 400

              not picking faults here john ,cracking picture clear as a bell
              but you seem to have a thing about balck and white ,is this your age showing m8 ?any chance of showing the same picture in colour sos to compare the 2 ?

                      Without trying to be too critical John, the ONLY fault I can see with the picture is the bud at about 1 o\'clock in the frame; otherwise it\'s superb.
                      If all about you are catching fish, cast in their swim !!!

                          Just goes to show you, that colour aint always the best.
                          My eyes must be going cause it looks sepia to me not black and white, maybe I need a new monitor for my pc.
                          Both very nice photo\'s tho John.

                            hi tala,

                            its not your eyes mate the original picture was taken in colour then it was changed on an editing suite to what is known as Hue & Saturation

                            very similar to B&W if not the same.

                              I much prefer the black and white one, John, u can actually see a kind of veining in the petals.
                              Better not use the Hue and Saturation thingy on any of the photos of the wife, might scare me to death
