          had it with me but thought better of climbing the tree and asking if he/she wouldn't mind putting it on, after all I may have fallen out the tree and hurt myself.

                    put it this way, if it wanted to it could of jumped on the vehicle. Heard a great story regarding a leopard. You go for a picnic in the bush on your all day game drive, they all use the same tree, right in the open, nothing can creep up on you, and gives plenty shade. A party where having their lunch when a vehicle came along and the occupants started taking photos of them, or so they thought, they hadn't noticed there was a leopard in the tree, apprently they moved quite quickly.
