  • eyemouth places for bait ?

hi first off hello as i am new to the site.
me and a few mates are traveling to eyemouth in a few weeks for the weekend fishing.
problem we have is trying to find a fishing shop in eyemouth for some bait as obviously if we take bait it sadly wont keep also would be alot easyer.
    any help would be great
    thanks

Welcome to site mate. My advice is take all yer bait with you in a coolbox. There is a shop in eyemouth but it just used to sell preserved bait etc. There's also a shop in Berwick but from my experience I wouldn't rely on it for good worms. You could try digging at Berwick but it will be hard work especially if there's a few of you.

thanks for the reply and the welcome.
seems the cool box idea is going to have to do and hope for the best with our bait.
how long will a cool box keep bait for? i.e-frozen crab, rag(live)lug(live)muscle(frozen) etc..

      thanks

for your frozen bait mate you need a wide mouth flask , i got a stanley hard plastic one from lidl for £5:99 keeps it frozen for a good 7hours then whatever you dont use just put back in the freezer
