not a convincing win, Irish just rebuilding, but a bit of an improvement, lot of silly penalties agian which cost us in the first half, still no cohesion from scrum half to backs, Cipriani needed, looks as if Jones has been working on fitness levels, Billy certainly improving as was Haskell, still need an out and out openside "Kvesic" springs to mind and Itoje at blindside. Work needs to be done on the srummaging props not getting the superioirty they should be, Cole certainly not the player he was. At least we have an abundance of locks, scrum halfs, centres and No 8's think Hynes when he qualifies for England might be pushing Billy and their is Beaumont as well, future certainly looks good but to take on the top three our way of playing has to change, Jones is the man to do it

At some point this team is going to click and give someone a right shoeing. You can see what Jones wants and is trying to get the players to do but after four years of rugby by the numbers the split second decision making isn't quite there yet. When it comes though...

(Unfortunately I don't see it coming for the game in two weeks)

just think he is the best 10 in the country and there are many who think so as well including Sir Clive and many overseas top coaches, don't think he is being given a fair chance to show what he can do, unlike others. If he pys crap I will be e first to say so but been watching him plenty of times over the years and to me he is the top ten

just watched him playing against Saracens, deft chips and lay offs all leading to trys, his time had better come, agree there will be changes after the six nations, after that I think Jones will be putting a team together that will challenge the top three, the players are there.

exactly, people said this six nation's was to early for jones to put his stamp on the team,
so we've got nothing to loose.
then build on it, already plenty of positive's,
then he may play your man......

                  England v wales.
by far the toughest test yet under jones.
to close to call, but a cracking game it should be.

Tremendous edge of your seat game. I am sure Jones will have learnt a lot from the second half. The future looks bright.

well that was close boyo, at least Jones sort of admitted near defaet was his fault with all the subs he made. Good sixty minurtes but Brown should of scored and Ford should of passed instead of keeping the ball two good scoring chances gone begging. Then Ford tried to throw the game on his won, gave them a try and then tried to give them another two with poor decission making, only luck with a couple of knock ons prevented them scoring, pleased he was taken off. But there are good signs what about Itoje, what a player future England captian, but still a lot of work to be done, whether we win the grand slam depends on which France team turns up next weekend, being at home they might turn up and play but think England will still edge it

Congrats to England on winning the championship, but I know who I would rather watch!

great game and pleased for Scotland, it is worrying the lack of tries scored by England, if Wales where as disciplined as they normally are they would of won hands down. Another wprrying pint in the game Dan Cile was sin binned for collapsing the maul, yet the guy who clearly made contact with the eye area was gievn a warning and told it might go further, always thought even if it was an accident you get binned or even worse if it looked intentional

Disagree there Alan. England were superb for the first 65 minutes, they never let Wales settle or get any kind of momentum. Wales were crap because England made them look crap - Wales are never "not up" for the game against England, it is the biggest game of their year after all. It was only after Jones started bringing the subs on then Cole got binned that Wales came back into it and that is something a young team will learn from. And the finishing will come; as I've said before at some point this side is going to click and when they do some team is going to get a tremendous shoeing from them.

As for the face raking, Joubert definitely bottled that call and I can foresee the Welsh lad getting a lengthy ban - IIRC Ashton got 10 weeks for something pretty similar
