the wife phoned the doctors this morning just after 9am to make an appointment for our 4 year old,\"weve non available for today \"she was told \"ok can i have one for tommorow\" she asked
\"NO youl have to phone back at 8:30 in the morning to make an appointment)
?????????????????? WTF .it seems you cant phone to make an appointment the day before anymore youve got to phone on the day you want to go,now i ask you what if you want an appointment for the end of the week so you can arrange time off ,what happens if you need an emergency appointment,,it makes me wonder why we still have a NHS you cant get an out of hours doctor now you have to go to a walk in center and now to top it off you cant get a bloody appointment unless you phone on the day your ill..i hope to god i never have an accident at work ,ill probably be asked if i can drag myself to hospital due to phoning at the wrong time...these people get paid to provide a service ,they demand more money and less hours and IMO dont deserve either (gps here not nurses) ,my daughter now has to suffer another day becouse some idiot decided to add another layer of red tape to a already crap system makes me wonder why i pay my stamp ,useless ****s in suits have got a lot to answer for

I know exactly how you feel Bri. I find that the main problem is the attitude of the receptionists mate. Im not saying thay are all power crazy but some of the ones Ive come across in the recent past need lessons in diplomacy. It seems that as soon as some people are given a little bit of authority it goes to their heads. I hope the bairn is well very soon mate.

Had the same bother myself Bri ,rang back at 8.30 the next morning and guess what the phone was engaged for 30 minutes so I drove down and waited in the QUEUE to get an appointment ,of course the receptionists were busy with the phones GRRRRR

well its there own fault lol should have seen the lassie yesterday becouse today weve got both of them off school so serves the buggers right,bull/china shop springs to mind when the 2 of them are together
