      It's been said before I'm sure, the advertising funds the site.

      I'm guessing no adverts = no site.

      To be honest I hadn't even noticed it until I read this thread and started looking.

      I think the ads are driven by the page content as well so every time somebody says "Alan Yates" the more he'll appear - MAJIK!!!!
