good old proud honest upstanding america. Bin laden was a close family friend of the Bush's, the first big middle east/America oil deal was sign by bin laden senior and GW Bush senior in the 60's. at the time of 911 some of the bin ladens were house guest at the bush's and the only aircraft to leave american air space on the following day was a privvate jet, charted by the Bush's to get the Bin Laden's out of the country!

Good riddance, but it won't make a bit of difference - apart from maybe a backlash and loads of revenge attacks left right and centre. Suspect they could have nailed him ages ago, they've just waited till they need some good PR
