absolutely dispicable the way Burgess has been treated, brought into the England team long before he was ready, played out of posistion and when England failed he, although he did waht was asked of him, was dumped out the squad, can't blame him, down to the RFU and Lancaster, Woodward is right the RFU is a laughing stock

Must admit I was just playing Devils Advocate Alan, but the timing of his arrival and departure pose a lot of questions. As for his long term ability, one of the more interesting aspects of this World Cup is how many "outstanding" players have had their weaknesses exposed. Sonny bill took 24mths before making it into the NZ squad. Sam was thrown in after half a season.... Having been playing different positions for club and country. England coaches are where the blame lies for me. Wasted a very big talent and opportunity.
