[quote...... it is wrong and pasta shouldn\'t be used as a pudding. [/quote]

never stopped every school in the country serving up macaroni as a pudding along the lines of rice pud.

top banoffe pie tip here then. The ultimate caramel for a banoffee pie. Tin of condensed milk. simmer the tinn for 2 hours or more unopened and leave to cool. you can keep it for months without opening it, then just spread the contents on yer nanas and bake.

might sound mad but nearly every restaurant in the land make it that way

Yaaak Mark ,no sweet tooth here I\'m afraid .Was in Glasgow years ago and remeber the Mars bars and pies being fried as well as the queue outside the chippy at 10 am on a Sunday morning !!!!
Oh and I went back to my roots namely Walker and found my favourite chippy as you would expect taken over by non english....and selling fried mars bars , and they\'d stopped selling goood stuff like home made steak and kidney and leek puds .....not right at all, still sign of the times eh!
You can take the lad out of Walker but .......

Gordon if the pies were that nice you would go fishing for them instead of catching all our cod that never seems to make it this far south
                Cheers Alan...

                        getting into Elvis territory here

his fave (so I read) was 2 huge slices of bread, peanut butter on both, banana, loads of maple syrup, squashed together, fried in loads of butter served with a pint of double cream

nee wonder he died on the dunny
