Snowing Heavy Again

Sun 19th Dec Snowing very heavy North of the Tyne in Ashington so if anyones thinking of driving up this way i would think twice, be carefull.

I am 1 mile from the Tne bridge Gateshead and not a thing all morning just a smattering over night.

Not a lot here in North Shields but just dropped the lad off in Whitley Bay and the difference is amazing.

I'm working at the Josephine Butler school at Ashington, hope it keeps snowing , the site might close....

Still a clear sky here and no snow at all.

im in hartlepool and woke up 2 find we had 2 inchs of snow and a black sky

There wont be any building sites open the morn up this way Ashingtons nearly at a stand still m8.

its like Armageddon here on the coast went black as coal then the winds picked up wild blizzards now

Wor lass has just been on the phone she works at Morpeth and she is stranded the taxis are off and the buses, and ive just herd the roads in and out of Morpeth are closed.

We were supposed to be taking the laddy to two parties in Morpeth this afternoon, had to say no. Took our lass an hour from Blyth to Ashington at 2pm, gone to about 6 inches of snow in the back garden.

I spoke too soon, 1" and counting on the ground down in less than 1 hr

Just cleared the path and dug out a track way behind my car no jokeing it was a foot deep.

Well got my alarm set for 06.30 so will have a wander down to the "wintery" sea front in the morning and try to get a sunrise shot !!!
