There going to have to splash the cash on an interpreter if Beardsley get the job.
No good asking for John Hall he stated in one interview if he had his time over again that he would never get involved with football isnt hind sight a marvellous thing.

Spotted this on a press site, from the League Managers Association:

LMA Statement Issued Regarding Chris Hughton
      07 Dec 10

The League Managers Association (LMA) has issued the following statement in relation to Chris Hughton's departure from Newcastle United Football Club.

Following his permanent appointment as manager in October 2009, Chris enjoyed tremendous success with Newcastle, lifting the Championship League title and securing the club's promotion to Barclays Premier League at the first time of asking, with 102 league points.

Chris's career as manager of Newcastle got off to an excellent start. In recognition of his achievements, Chris picked up four Football League Manager of Month Awards and was duly named LMA Football League Championship Manager of the Year 2010, as voted for by his peers, the managers in the Championship.

This season, Newcastle are currently sitting in 11th position in the Barclays Premier League and under Chris's guidance have enjoyed memorable victories over Arsenal, Aston Villa and Sunderland.

Chris leaves Newcastle with a superb win percentage of 55.71%.

Chris Hughton, said: "We have built on last season's momentum following promotion back up to the Barclays Premier League and have produced some excellent results to see us sitting midway in the table at this stage of the season. I am immensely proud of my achievements with Newcastle and I enjoyed a fantastic relationship with the players, my staff and the supporters during my time as manager. I now wish them and the club all the very best for the future. The termination of my contract is now in the hands of the LMA and I will therefore be making no further comment at this stage."

Richard Bevan, chief executive of the LMA said: "The LMA is extremely disappointed that Newcastle have parted company with Chris given the success the club has experienced since his appointment. Not only did Chris secure promotion back to the Barclays Premier League, but achieved two club records in the process; 102 points to secure promotion and the longest sequence of unbeaten league matches (17). Throughout his time at Newcastle Chris has conducted himself with tremendous integrity and dignity, the team's current position of 11th in the Barclays Premier League demonstrating the stabilising effect Chris has had in his role as manager during his period at Newcastle."

I hear Gazza is in for the job, fetching 4 cans and a cooked chicken to sweeten the deal.

Just spoke with two at work and they wont be purchasing a ticket next season if M.A in charge, i have been to 4 matches this season and apart from the next home match i already have a ticket for thats it for me also.

Such a shame for the palyers that graft thou and want to be at the club..same old same old, wish we had your chairman in charge.

Big protest being organsied before during and after the match with it being on Sky sports, wont do the clubs name any good but it will make us feel better,,,plus side is a Arab Prince has Newcastle, Everton and Tottenham on a short list of teams he wishes to purchase as he cant spend his reported 40bn on anything else.....reports on the news right now.

What's this third rate manager won in the past, bugger all?
What will he win at Newcastle, same as above?

His managerial record is average to poor to say the least and it seems the only thing he's good at is getting the sack.

He's got all the charisma of a loser

Big name manager, don't make me laugh.

When will the supporters start voting with their feet?

long time friend of Derek Lambias, what more do you need to say

how ashley can't see that he is making a laughing stock of himself and the club beats me. Can't ever recall seeing/hearing/reading as much all round condemnation of a manager being sacked before - from fans, pundits, journalists and professionals alike

and then to drag Pardew in, because he wanted a 'big name' with 'more experience'

                            haddaway and ****e

6 months the club will be formally up for sale again

Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but bring a smile to your face when thrown down the stairs

Converting an MFV Fifie trawler type thing.
