Opinions welcome - are they any good? network coverage an issue in some places?
with times being hard n'all some of their sim only deals seem too good to be true

is that not one of the "rolling" monthly contracts?
IE instead of signing up for 12-18 months you just pay month by month as normal but with no minimum term tie-ins

i'm with 02 on pay as you go, £15 a month and i get 500 texts and unlimited internet... as for coverage, spot on, i very rarely lose signal. the only places i lose signal is when im fishing up north on the more remote marks.
I'm confused with these PAYG plans that require a minimum spend...can you pay by DD on these? if so it's a contract more or less isn't it?

Cant beat two empty baked bean tins and a length of string. If only making local calls the string can be shortened, if on the other hand you make a lot of long distance calls. Guess what? A longer piece of string will be required.
Your only tied to the obstacles the string gets snagged on.
Nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught
Virgin is Okay - coverage can be a bit ropey at tmies but no more than other networks - I pay £25 monthly - 18 month contract - brand new phone every 18 months - usually top of the heap, currently using an N86 8mp camera phone from Nokia (should have cost £300 according to Amazon). I get 500 mins anytime/any network, unlimited texts and unlimited internet access, access to free updates from Nokia Ovi store and Virgin, Virgin Bites and news info and a load of bundled gear with the phone (handsfree kit, USB cable, software and vouchers etc.).
But they are just as average as every other network out there - take your pick and go with what you fancy.
checked my contract and it's not due for renewal until october 2011
...can't remember signing up for that long but I must have I s'pose
yeah plenty of very similar deals out there at the moment - will see where the market is next year and what phones as well - no doubt the perennial iPhone question will pop up...but I will resist/must resist
