Sorry, but I have to share this with you lads.
My phone contract was up last month, so I took a Tesco sim only, which seemed the best deal, just what I needed for £7.50 a month! All went seemlessly, my number segued smoothly to my new sim and phone (which I bought for £124!) and I was a happy Bunny!
Mark, however, has a different story!
His contract was up last week and he went last Thursday to get his current phone unlocked(because he is a tight git and wouldn't buy a new phone!)..I did warn him he may want to go earlier, but no, he told me any phone can be unlocked immediately. He went to the shop, only to be told a Sony Xperia takes 2 weeks and £25 to unlock!!
Screwed, he traded the Sony in for a Galaxy Ace, which wasn't available until today, so he was without a phone since last Thursday!
He picked the sim up from me at the weekend.
Today he got his his new phone from the shop, opened up the sim, took too much of the surround off and slid it in. It disappeared!...... Wouldn't work.
He went back to shop, they couldn't get it out either, so they have sent his brand new phone of 2 hours away to get the sim out!!!
No phone til at least Wednesday.
