    well known north east angler doug spivy passed away this week,will be sadly missed. r.i.p. davy.

        was a member of botac for a lot of years and fished the krinklys for the past 20 yrs,was fishing seahouses,beadnell,and st abbs club matchs with me and marty until a year or two ago. davy.

            RIP Doug, I bumped into him at Seahouses only a few years ago fishing the Carr end, a great angler and good bloke.

                funeral is on tue 10.30 tynemouth crem, would be good of some of his fishing buddys could make it

                    Yes, as Nicky says - one of the family put the details up saying it'd be nice if some of his fishing buddies could make it - I'll definitely try to be there.

                      Sad news indeed. Doug was a well established angler when I was just a teenager. Our thoughts are with his family.
