I agree John. I only ever adjust exposure a bit in RAW files if its underexposed, and crop a pic. Apart from that I prefer trying to get a good scene without fiddling with it. Your analogy is a good one!

      Great pics as ever
You were just down the road from me Tony (Kirkinner). Garlieston is a lovely spot, I often walk the doggies on the beach. There's some good marks on the other side of the bay too. Did you do any fishing?

I usually do Newcastle to Kirkinner in 3 hours without breaking any limits but it can take longer especially when you get stuck behind a convoy heading to or from Stranraer ferries.

      Great pics John

Only had the light spinning rod with me so had a few chucks on the groyne a couple of nights - sprats being chased by something at dusk but nothing was interested in the small Toby I was chucking out

Spent a few hours at the more popular Isle Of Whithorn where I managed a small Pollack and later on 3 Mackerel (at once ...took me 5 minutes to land 'em - great fun!!)

Back next year with the "proper gear" I think - will try Eggerness Point and also there has got to be some big flatties in Garlieston I'm convinced of it as it looks perfect for them...also gonna take the Fly Rod as the Campsite has its own pond
        Ooh a new vid!
