Epson R200 or R300\'s seem canny Bri, ink carts are cheap as well.
    Cheers, Keith.

You\'re gonna have to look at a laser printer for speed mate, inkjets are always going to be slower at printing.

I\'m using an Epson 880 at home, not very fast and I\'ve had it quite a while, but it\'s serving me well and the cart\'s are pennies for compat\'s.

if its just balck and white buy a laser. A toner cartridge might cost up to 50 quid for one but you should get between 5000 and 10000 copies from a cartridge. usually have some pretty good deals. I bough a samsumg laser a couple of months ago for a client, 20 pages per minute, 25 quid for a toner cartridge (not needed one yet), 100Mb ethernet as well as usb/parallel all for 99 quid.

Personally I wouldn\'t give an inkjet printer house room. I have an epson 5000 proofer and it costs a fortune to feed. Bought a colour laser printer, which cost 7000 quid but I\'ve had 4000 copies out of it so far and still tons of toner left

i think 7000 quid is a bit out of my price range lol mines not bad but what with the pc speed etc i think its a bit slow ,ill have a look round ,was thinking of a laser printer, its just for the local lads i print a few flyers up now and then ,a few being a 1000
              cheers Bri

                7000 quid

                should of been 700!

just looked on the http://www.morgancomputer.co.uk site and they have the samsung lasers for 79 quid plus vat at the minute

the laser engine is good for at least 250000 copies and I usually get well over 5000 copies from a toner cartridge.

If you need run of 1000 copies it might be easier to get them printed commercially, single sided A5 flyers shouldn\'t set you back more than 10 or 15 quid
