font size

Is it me or has the font size changed on here,checked a few other sites and this is the only that has changed,have\'nt changed any settings either.

been to any msn/microsoft sites recently?? you could be suffering from another billism. Caxton invented printing and type setting soem 600 years ago and typography was born, and after cicero we ended up with points as the unit of measure for type and there\'s been 72 of \'em to the inch ever since

this is obviouslt not good enough for microshaft who have decided that caxton and cicero got it wrong and there\'s really 96 points to an inch. Your user pref\'s in explorer allow you to choose whcih one you prefer. The problem arises gfrom explorer and microsofts love of screwing you at every available opportunity. Using the ActiveX component of explorer they can reset your prefs remotely! In your prefs there\'s an option for the number of points you want to see per inch, chances are they have been changed for you (nice of em) you can switch em back tho in your prefs.

while you\'re in prefs turn off ActiveX support if it will let you (some version of IE no longer allow you to turn it off) turning this off should also cut down the number of virsues and spyware you PC bods suffer from as this is one of the easiest ways for them to get in.

you should try it on a mac. the old fonts chestnut can drive you bonkers. If someone uses frontpage to design(!) a page and sets 8point as the type size, we see 8/96 of an inch not 8/72 of an inch, a substabtially smaller fraction making so pages unreadable

Not noticed any change to the font size on here meself, Alan......mind you, I don\'t use IE

Thanks Mark lmfao,the posting boxes are the correct size (the box i\'ve put this in) but outside of the post boxes the font is really small,i\'ll have a better look at it after

On IE I went to view then text size and changed it to medium it was on small for some reason,strangly it was only this web site where the text was small,also remembered a while back the same problem happened with Ebay\'s web site.
