      Pleased you got sorted Rob, it will cut down on the ear ache mate

      I think I only ever built one Alan, I haven't a clue what happened to that one though. Probably ended up on the old coal fire after my mother told me to put it away for the 50th time, after the snow had gone

          Depends what you consider by local mate? Our lasses mate got us 2 from over Stanley way were she lives, just in time as well as she was snowed in the next day!

          Just had a look on ebay out of curiosity and the rip off merchants are now selling their £10 plastic sledges for £30!

              In no way do i advise this but...gasboards! You know the ones that go around holes in roads etc! Used to go down blacka hills on them, even without the snow!

                Hello, I don't know if this is any help to anyone but the garage at Ouston had some blue plastic sledges in yesterday......probably best to ring first if you're driving any distance. "Ouston service station" is the name.
