  • Winter Project Frank .....(enstien)

Well, its almost time to wrap up and get out there (after the big clean up and service that is , cloths at the ready Tone )

however since we seem to have more shads around than most tackle shops I decided to leave off the shad making this winter and diversify ..... just to keep my brain cells active until the mind games with the cod (not long now) soon begin.

For anyones interest , this was my winter project, a little retro but never mind ..........

This is Frank, my ..... creation

Well, you gotta keep yourself active until its time to get out there

    thanks for reading

    norm

oh , I forgot to mention what it is
It's a functioning Z80 based microcomputer designed and built around individual Integrated circuit Chips ... and its alive and well

lol Lynne it does not have a purpose in life just that of education and satisfaction when it works.

If you remember the old Sinclair spectrum games computers they were based on the same technology ... The same cpu chip ie a Z80.

This is to enable me to design and make all the required electronic logic to enable a Z80 cpu to work and function .... An old spectrum type computer

It's all binary with switches but I may extend it to a screen and keyboard in future (unless the cod come)

it doesn't have a target in life, since it's already passed ie it cycles and runs small programs flashing lights and responding to inputs
