Greys/Hardy's Shop At Alnwick

Well went to the above today and what fantastic guys that work there i was very impressed. Firstly went with the wife and daughter and the staff were straight accross to see if we wanted a hot drink, then the advice was fantastic and i even got to try a new fly rod and reel out and there was some great bargains there I got a brand new greys boat rod for £20 that had a rrp of over £60 on it,They had the greys grxi flylines in there for only £6.99 and some fantastic offers on rods etc. One of the offers they had was a greys uptide rod which would have been a great pier rod for only £27.50. I would recomend anyone after a new greys or hardy's setup to go there as they guys will let you try out the rods and reels on there casting pond without any hard sale tactics. They had the grxi spare spools and the cases for the reels all at £2 each. This was a very worthwhile trip up for me

I agree with you Bobo, I have been a couple of times whilst visiting Alnwick & have always found a bargain & given excellent advice.
