Thanks for that Sless- Jill asked me to reply on her behalf(she isnt usually Shy ) she had a time of 2hrs 11mins which is canny going in my book-if i done it in that time they would have to take the keys off me at Shields, but it was a good Day and the winners were all the Charities that will benifit.

Hey TC why not Start one off for the Life Boat appeal,we can all run in our waders, wellies, geed big Boots, But i will meet you all in the New Crown with your Pints on the Bar .

                Brian,
You won\'t be surprised to learn that I did have thoughts along those lines following last years GNR. (MEBBIES WITHOUT THE WADERS, THOUGH !!).

I decided against suggesting it, because if I had.......Id\'ve been expected to do the run ..........Now I don\'t mind doing what I can to help raise money for the RNLI......but I definitely draw tha line at anything THAT strenuous...

i was thinking of it myself after watching it yesterday,i read sless\'s post and i thought what a good idea, problem is i have never ran in anger for a few years, well a canny few years apart from 5 a-side footie etc.
Its got me thinking now ! RNLI, Blyth VLB,Breast cancer the list is endless, sadly.Got a while to think about it .

I can see this post lasting a while lol.
                    Cheers Alan...
