Hope no-one thinks I'm raking up old muck but I was dying to write a comment in the "Kids Spinning" thread along the lines of "they're better off on the end of Shields pier than antagonising poor old Sir....." - you get the drift. Unfortunately with the thread being closed it prevents that but it does bring up an interesting aside - our school is deemed "Good" by the OFSTED gang but we do have trouble - the occasional fight, intruders on site looking for kids etc but the most common hassle now is, without doubt, cyber bullying, cyber antagonism and cyber gang warfare. Almost all our incidents IN school begin OUTSIDE, as per the Spinning thread and it's not just the kids. Staff have posted things on Facebook that, in effect, slag off other staff and / or kids. I despair of some of our staff who post the "OOOOOHHHH it's so good to have finished the ironing, marked my books or had a hot bath"
I have a hotmail account and I talk to yous lot about fishing. Anything else I ring people up or pop round to see them or meet them in the pub.

By the way I'm up on Sunday morning for a week and I shall not be contacted unless you clamber all over the rocks to find me. Will take lots of photos though.

Sorry. Meeting Rod at the Purdy Motel for breakfast (isn't it expensive there now !) at 06.00 on Sunday. Will be golfing Saturday and recovering Monday lol. Hope you get one or two Saturday - weather is encouraging.

Cheers Jim. Must admit it's worrying how quickly this year has come around. It's over a year now since my mam died - we came up in June for a little sit on the bench and a look out to sea over the Stoney.
Soon I'll be able to come back up on my free bus pass lol.
Weather looks set fair so no excuses this year (except over fishing by literate geordies).
