  • Walking with dinosaurs

took the grandosn to the arena tonight to see the walking with dinosaurs show, it was absolutely amazing. Well worth going to see, we were in block 214 row s and had a magnificent view, some of the dinosaurs where nearly the height of the lights.

Really wanted to take the kids to see this but like everything at the arena, you need a good win on the lottery to be able to afford it. When I looked the cheapest tickets left were about 35 quid and by the time they were adding on the service charge etc, for me and the 3 lads was gonna be about £165 so that was me priced out!

Charlie unfortunately didn't get to eat any, didn't fancy anything without stripes and they where a bit small, biggest was only 20foot, sandwich size, I Keith, certainly brought back memories when I used to roam the plains with the hairy mamouths, Red we got tickets on line and didn't pay surcharge, and there was just me and the grandson, it was when I went to buy something they where going to charge £1.60 surcharge for using my card that I was pleased I had cash with me. Some parties must of spent a fortune, mam, dad, two or three kids, plus all the extras they where buying. But as it was a once in a lifetime and my grandson has been into dinosaurs for years, it was well worth it, especially when I went to pick him up and told him where he was going, he nearly blow a cork. Have been onto the organisers, but don't tell anybody, they will be amking a DVD of it. We had good seats as well, i think the ones in the front would have had their view obscured at times by some of the effects, we where down the side and near the back so you could see evrything.
