BTW Mark, I'm getting a campervan next week so don't be too surprised if you hear that somebody is asking around about your whereabouts !!!!! All depends on when the Mrs has her operation.
likewise hope the op is plain sailing

Not usually that hard to find up there these days, my reputation usually precedes me! Away to Barra 9th to 16th then straight from oban up to ardnamurchan. look out for the big scruffy blue land rover discovery, with expedition roof rack - won't be too far away!

daren't think what the price of diesel will be in kilchoan this year, probably about 8quid a litre of summats!

Slightly off topic but the worm beds on one of the Outer Hebridean islands I have visited are absolutley unbelievable. Acres of huge casts, all over the place, haven't stuck a fork in but I've been reassured there's a worm under every one. Asked about whites but noone knew as most anglers are after the troots.

Thanks for the welcome and the top advice, Mark your spot on with the site, now I'm worried if its bad the wife will go berserk as it was recomended from a diving buddy of mine, I will be taking the wifes car and fuel up in fort Bill, my disco does 18 to the gallon not ideal for scotland without a fuel tanker following, it is dual fuel but LPG stations are more like hens teeth up there took my disco up to Mallaig last year and it cost a fortune in fuel.

                  oh dear!

you might be alright, there were 2 vans on there, its a tiny site, and trevor is a canny bloke, but one of them was looking a bit 'tired' last year!

perfect for fishing the 2 lochs though, about 20 mins walk directly behind the campsite, and the rock edges out to the left as you look at the sea from the site are canny for pollock and coalies

pretty sure the BP on the mallaig road just past the corpach turn off does LPG now,
