Was in two minds (well, several really), whether or not to post the photo.

I DID, because I think, once you\'ve seen it, it brings it home just how sick and barbaric these errrrm \"yobs\" are.

And yes,, ya right, Jim.......it DOES make you lost for words, m8.

howay lads most north east folk are animal lovers.we have 3 scum bags put them in stocks in the market sqare and leave the b*****ds to suffer till death.but we must also blame the corner shop (drink)and the drug dealers.if the market sqare no good ile take the b*****ds to hamsterly forest and nail them to a tree (wot a waste of good nails)
.instead of hunting foxes we should hunt scum

its in there genes, there family is probably sh#te as well, some of the #rseholes should be sterilised,if someone did this to a human being they would get ten years (then again !) but this crime will get them 100 hours community service if they are lucky ...............

My lass is a Family Support worker for Social Services and according to her, the sad thing is that sh*t who abuse animals can go on to abuse kiddies. They make no distinctions between the two and \"get off\" on the feeling of being all powerful when brutalising them. You just have to remember little Jamie Bulger to remind you how sick kids can be.

Lets hope the police have the right names and they are caught, for all our sakes.

And yeah, South Shields is a nice place place Jim, and I\'m proud to live here, but you can\'t help feeling guilty when something like this happens on your own patch. It\'s always the crappy things that an area is remembered for, isn\'t it?

Most comments dead right lads. I just cannot understand what these b******s get out of doing such a thing to a defenceless animal. A couple of years or so back,my son was coming back from the off-licence and saw two scumbags standing next to one of our cats. The cat was minding its own business just sitting on the wall and one of these tw**s leaned over and spat in the cats face.Me and the son followed them down the lane onto the sea front keeping a nice pace behind them until they realised something was up. We then walked over the road just behind them and the son says \"here lads, you know that cat that you just spat on ? well, ITS HIS !. One look at what they faced and the cowardly Ba******s caved in. I had hold of one by the neck and the other one was ****ting himself until I SPAT on HIM and he started to bloody cry !. I told them what would happen if ever I saw them again near my house and they buggered off pretty sharpish. I didnt stop to think that I could have been done for assault if they went to the law but I just saw red when confronted with the pair of them. I know two wrongs never make a right but I still stand by what I did and I would do it again should the need arise. It just went to show what bottle these two had at the end of the day.

About 10 years ago we had a cat shot off the garden fence with an airgun. Luckily it was just a skin wound and it recovered. A few days later the same gang of lads set light to a dumped settee and pushed it up against the fence. Being slightly peeved at the cat, this pushed me over the edge and I had a go at one of them. The next morning I woke up to find my rear windscreen smashed and a bill for £120 to replace it, made me wish I\'d did a better job on them?

                            Jim.

Well according to the Police Nothing happened in the park with the youths. The man that took the dog in was apparently the owner and it was due to an incident in his house that the dog was hurt. He has been arrested then released without charge ????? A report has been sent to the R.S.P.C.A.
