Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but bring a smile to your face when thrown down the stairs

Converting an MFV Fifie trawler type thing.

to make a frame to go along the bottom of the awning of the caravan, handy when on hard ground or pitch.

tv/radio installation company might be a good shot

they usually use a variety of lengths of ali' or galv steel for aerial extension masts

steel cable ducting from and electrical wholesalers maybe do it as well??

                Alan,

Got a length of galavanised tube here about 3.5ft long about 1" OD it has another tube inside that slides out and locks making it about 7ft.

One of the lads brought it in for me to use as a net handle, I think it was originally a clothes prop or summit.

You're welcome to it if it's any use.
                Cheers, Keith.

                  Hello,
Maybe you could use bits from an old tent, I've also seen some gazebos that are pretty cheap. Maybe you could use the bits from one of those.
                  Regards Ian.

Sounds like 20mm galvanised conduit might be your best bet.

Not sure if Norland Cables is still in business, they used to be near Gallowgate bus station.

ask and ye shall find, phoned around a few places and on the net, quoted £7.40 per mtre for fibre glass tube, metal tubing also quite expensive. Would have prodably cost around £20-£30 for tubing, then I would have had to make connectors and corners. Taking Ians advice, looked ar Argos Gazebo £11-99, went and got one, got everything I need for two frames, corners etc, and will still be able to use it as a Gazebo. Cheers for the help lads. Only way I could have done it cheaper is if I was still at work.

went to my caravan place, they didn't have what I wanted and what I may have used was a bit to bendy and a tad pricey.
