  • Wireless scart advice Please

Having fitted the bairns bedroom out - i now need advice on how i can put her telly on the other side of her room ,but leave her sky box under her dressing table - i have looked at the remote scart ,where one is in the back of the sky box and the other will go in the back of her telly

They look neat and tidy (what i want ) but do they need to be in line of sight of each other ,and do they work any good

anyway what i am asking lads is any of you guys got good sound advice on what will REALLY work and be tidy

    Cheers in advance

Not got any experience mate, but given that scarts are at the back of most kit then having them in sight of each other wouldn't seem practical. Maplins do some that can be used accross rooms so that would certainly imply that they're just broadcasting over a frequency - Maplin> WIRELESS SCART SENDER

I've got one similar to one of the ones Lee posted in the bairns room (the sky box is in our room), it works a treat.

      Audio/Video Sender Kit 2727 > Maplin

      & another

      Wireless AV Sender 2.4 GHz
      Cheers, Keith.

Keith, is that where you bought yours from?
I got the eldest a flat-screen with freeview and despite getting and HD ariel and putting it in the loft plus a booster he's getting rubbish signal. Mainly he watches stuff when we're watching a dvd so if he can watch sky in his room while we watch a movie then that would be cool.... it's a heck of a lot cheaper than sky multi-room which would get barely used and less than maplins kit...

I bought mine from lidl in one of their specials.

If you can run a coax cable the sky boxes have a spare RF outlet, if you want to the abilty the to change channels upstairs the cable and a "magic eye" is the cheapest option.

The wireless sender works fine between our room and the daughters but if I move it to the son's room it the picture is crap so be careful.
          Cheers, Keith.
