Forgot to say before Tony. Can we have a coffee machine and if it can be afforded one of those dispensing machines that knocks out cold cans of John Smiths Pleeze.

It would be nice to have a few more reviews - I\'m as guilty as everyone else (nearly), but I think that they would be really useful.

The other thing I noticed is that the search facility doesn\'t work.

Otherwise I can\'t fault it - best sea fishing BBS on the web!

Sorry to be a bit negative but I would like the site to deal exclusively with Sea Angling.

I\'m not a fresh water fishermen either but i thought it would generate more interest in NESA as i presume some members and guests do both.
Maybe it would\'nt get used, i dunno.Probably better off \"topping\" a post regarding the most popular requests and seeing what interest you get.
Ell see your point as well mate

Alan, just a personal opinion, and if the site did contain info on other types of angling I wouldn\'t complain. I feel non Northern sea angling stuff is very well catered for elsewhere and the site could / should have affiliations and links to all of these areas. However, I feel it would detract from the main reason for this site being here.
              1. Sea Angling
              2. The NE (in no particular order)
This in no-way is meant to tighten down or exclude people, I just feel the site should keep focussed (shoot me I said focussed ****)
In general I have no problems with the current forum I love it. It looks fine, works fine, is moderated very well and the contributions are great. Tony, are you looking for feedback on the Website as a whole? If so then are a number of things which could be done. At the moment the website IS the forum IMO. There\'s loads I\'m sure we as a group could do to develop things further.

We did have a freshwater angling area on a previous layout.........remember the \"Fluff Chucking\" forum ??

It was a popular area, especially during the Summer months.

I\'ve certainly got no objections to bringing it back (sorry, I should say creating it again, as \"bringing it back\" implies that the stuff previously posted would return).

However, as Ell has implied, this IS a sea angling forum (North East SEA Angling)........I\'ll go with whatever the majority want - if there\'s a demand, I\'ll start a new \"Fluff Chucking\" forum, if not, then I won\'t.

                      Hi Tony,

I\'m with Ell on this one, I think it should be solely for Sea Angling. The fishing marks section on the old site was excellent (I ended up printing it all of and putting it into a binder ), I think it would give some of the new members starting off fishing, or asking advice on marks, something to use as a reference.

Tony, an idea for the future - more use of video / flash animation. We could have casting techniques on video, rig making, knot tying, access to marks, boat handling, video catch reports etc. I\'d be prepared to team up with \"experts\" in some of these areas to help produce some video pieces.

Ell, Does sound good.........not sure about the logistics of uploading, though - bandwidth, etc.

                            Certainly, the hardware is available........
I have, at my feet at the moment (difficult to get me feet under the desk for the case)......this beastie.........

It\'s a brand spanking new Canon XL1s DV camcorder delivering broadcast quality images.

                                The quality is brilliant, Jim.
There\'s been a couple of movies made using just xl1s cameras.....the quality is THAT good.

Here\'s a link to a few clips from one of them.

The film\'s called \"28 days later\".......not really my kind of movie, but it gives you an idea of what the camera is capable of.
