My youngest wants a new phone for Christmas ,any recommendations as to which network to go with as far as free stuff goes , I.E. extra minutes / texts etc ???

I would have a look into the Metro Centre Steve, the way things are, they might be handing out some better deals at the moment mate. Not one of your favourite places I know but it could be worth it as there are plenty of phone shops to go at.

I would look on line to be honest.
Most do better deals as they don't have the shop overheads.
I have just upgraded and had a look around most.
Even with a PAYG phone i would look at Virgin.
I find the phones are higer spec for you cash and service is good.
If o2 had not come up with a good deal at the last minute i was going to buy 2 phones off them.THE PSYCHIC BIKERComment

go for o2 mate, ive got some genie sim cards everytime you top up £10 you get 300 free texts and if you top up £15 or more you get 500 free texts. you can get them free from o2. ive got a few left if you want one, i dont want anything for them just come and get themComment

vodapone top up £15 a mth and get unlimited txts cant remember the calls but about the best going and if the bairn is owt like mine it will be txts all the time even to say good nite from upstairs

O2 every time. Loads of freebees. At the moment if you top up you get to hook a duck and that gets you an extra bonus. ie; more free txts or more free minutes.As I have grown older, I've learned that pleasing everyone is impossible,
