What are peoples veiws on the various networks?

O2 all the time for me. I've used them all and have t-mobile and orange pay as PAYG but they don't come close to my O2 contract.

£18 per month = 600 mins any network, free calls to O2 users and 1000 txts. + i was offered mobile broadband when i took the package for £3 per month which is v cheap!!!

They were also going to give me v cheap home broadband but i was tied in at the time.

Seems to be some good sim only deals about, for £20 you get 600mins & unlimited texts and most importantly no fixed contract.
        Cheers, Keith.

I went with 3 after being with Orange until they bumped up the price.

I think I paid £15 per month to start and got 600 cross network mins and 1000 free texts for 1st 6 months which then went to 300 mins and 500 texts, I also got £5 of free downloads and surfing the net on the phone was free.

That was valid for 18mths. After that period the charges went up to £30. So I phoned them and told them I wanted to cancel my contract and go pay as you go. Got a call a couple of days later saying, If I paid them £10 per month instead of going PAYG I would get 500 cross network mins and 100 texts as long as I continue with my D/D of £10. Not bad I thought so still with them.

as for coverage, O2 is the only one I've ever found to be anything like useful T mobile I found to be a complete bag '0' shoite. I had to drive nearly 18 miles from the house to get coverage and check messages

voda nearly as bad, orange better again, but )2 is the best I've tried in the last 15 years (including 3, BT mobile, Virgin, among others). I think they have an inbuilt allergy to grass and trees. If you live in a city, they are probably fine, go a few miles out and they are pants

3 is an utter joke IMHO

30 quid a month.. and you're in iPhone territory on o2

Unlimited internet usage/bandwidth included, which, if you use the phone a lot for 'netty stuff (and with an iPhone you will) makes it a good deal I reckon

Be ideal for him them, I'm sure number 1 or 2 updated NESA from about 30 or 40 miles offshore on a whey i phone whilst crossing the Forth of Firth or somewhere like that.

I was either attempting to steer, sleeping or possibly hiding!

O2 gets my vote for voice but you can't beat Vodafone for mobile broadband......... although I have just had a interesting email about FTP.
