Just watched the opening ceromony and was amazed, never seen anything like it in me life before

Cant help thinking how we will follow it in 2012. Terry Wogan and The Red Arrows come to mind

The Nazis were quite good at that type of caper as well

And they could put on a show

Thou call'st me madman, but I call thee blockhead"

was going to put a few bets on but apparently they've cancelled the 4 x 4 running people over with a tank relay event in favour of the how far can we take Coca Cola and McDonalds up the tradesmens entrance and how many students can you shoot in a day events instead

      Thought for the day:
Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but bring a smile to your face when thrown down the stairs

Converting an MFV Fifie trawler type thing.

i googled some Hitler stuff - just out of interest - his speech in the Olympic Stadium (it wasnt then but was used later) was pretty Crass ,-as was his tactics in War - but thats another episode - any way ,watching him rant on his persil box ,wasnt much apart from any of the dictators from China - suppresion, we will lead you all to a better future - dont F*ck with anyone in authority etc etc

and after his speech the wee man with the wee tash entertained the Runner Jesse Owens at the same Gaff 6 years later - bet the little man is still spinning in his pit

No Link on Speech - I dont want to be banned

did not see much of the games, saw a bit of boxing and taekwando, bit of iffy judging going on there. And it was nice to see the mothers of some of the gymnasts there to change their nappies.
