  • Seaton Sluice - lovely meal.

Kayos (Mark) promised to take me out for a birthday meal when we were down here and apparently KeithB recommended the Waterford Arms in Seaton Sluice and it was just lovely, so thanks Keith.

Beautiful location and Mark took some photos of the quaint harbour.

The pub is really nice and we had a couple of drinks at the bar, perused the menu, ordered and when it was ready, we were shown through to the dining room.

I had rump of lamb with rosemary and mint jus (gravy to you and me), mash and veg. Absolutely beautiful. Mark went all 1980's with surf n turf, but the fillet of beef was tender and tasty and the king prawns fabby. Yes I did try his!

If you are looking for a good night, out you should give the Waterford Arms a try. We also had a decent bottle of Chilean sauvignon blanc, coffee liqueurs and all for about £50!

Had a lovely birthday..................all we need now is some Goddamn fish!!
