Cheers lads and lasses ,well we just got back from a family holiday in Turkey ,staying in the same hotel as Willywetegg , a great time had by all and a good chance for my wife and son to relax after all of the stress and worry of things after my accident , I even managed a bit of swimming along with a couple of Turkish voddies and coke ,terrible eh .
Luckily enough I'm not self concious and had to laugh after a few people gave me strange looks and I noticed a few people nudging each other and pointing to my scar ( mirrors all over ) ,anyway you can hardly see it .

You can take the lad out of Walker but .......

I just got back yesterday and am feeling very fragile today lol. My legs are not too good at all and I have to go to the swimming baths in an hour and a half for physio not looking forward to that at all lol. Cracking break though with some great company, can't wait till I go back in a few weeks time. Just pleased I didn't have your return trip Steve ours was quite ordinary in comparison. I would still be having nightmares about your trip to the Ballamory of the mountains lol

I forgot to say last night, Carol and Rachel said it was good to meet you lot too and they are looking forward to us all getting together for a night out They were on a boat trip on Saturday, they both came back rather red and Carol could hardly walk. They had a go on the ringo's and with her being just little she fell through and her backside was bouncing about in the water instead of the ringo A wee bit tender I think lol.

                      Jim.

eeeeeek, just read through the thread. I knew Steve had a accident but didn't know it was a broken neck!

Steve, me mate totally mangled "C3" in a roll over car accident and had two ops to graft bone. He was fully recovered, back to work after 18 months

Good to see your recovering and all the best from me & Jac
                          Regards, Graham
