I've been looking for classic shaving gear ,you know the butterfly type razor which uses razor blades and of course a badger hair brush , anyway I found plenty online but I was wondering if any of you fine gents know of somewhere I can get them off the shelf as I want to have a good look and feel of the goods before buying.

Being from Walker I thought you'd already have one of these.

    Cheers, Keith.

There's a few places down that London Steve where you can get the full tamale might be worth treating yourself if you can make the trip? Blades, brushes and all the ungents befitting a gentlegadge like yourself.

Might be able to get gear on approval? or am I being naive - if it's top knotch gear you're after you'll probably not be sending it back - maybe worth a phone call Steve - explain the circumstances, if there's any justice you might get a nice set up for nowt

tis a bonny 'shiff... to use the sarf landern vernecular

one of the finest hours I ever spent was in a barbers on Bond Street, when I were in that london. Oh the Irony, one minute I was scratching me nuts in squat in wandsworth, an hour later I was being shaved by a true gentlemans gentleman, don't think he were a nonce neither

the whole palaver took nearly an hour, hot towels, facial massage, lather up by a brush the size of a mop from a mug resembling a minature toilet, then out came the shiff, few strokes on a leather strop an he sets too.... more hot towels, final touch up with the shiff, splash of cologne and the smoothest chin
              ever

              highly recomended
