    My Sincere Apologies to Everyone

Over the past few weeks I have forwarded funny pictures and jokes to friends who I thought shared the same sense of humour.

Unfortunately this wasn't the case and I seem to have upset quite a few people who have accused me of being sexist and shallow.
If you were one of these people, please accept my humblest apologies.

From now on I will only send emails with a cultural or educational content such as old monuments, nature and other interesting structures.
Below is a picture of the PontNeuf Bridge in Paris.

For those of you who are interested, PontNeuf is the oldest bridge in Paris and took 26 years to build. Construction began in 1578 and ended in 1604.

'Le PontNeuf' is actually made of 2 independent bridges, one with seven arches and the other with five arches.
Again please accept my sincere apologies.

    Many thanks and kind regards,
    Alan

All frenchmen's arses are like that, wait till he turns round - little tash and you can see the strap from his onion string

                    He haw he haw.

                      Bridge Stories -

Had a wee off the Humber Bridge

Sang that song "sur le pont d'avingnon - la la la la syle a bop bop" standing on said bridge in Avignon

Spent a month in San Fransisco and never crossed the Golden Gate Bridge - couldn't be arsed to be honest
                      - couldn't be arsed to go to Alcatraz neither
-couldn't be arsed to do that much really, I blame the drugs, the promoters and the people who nicked our hire car and most of our luggage on day 0.5

Used to crawl under a bridge over Houghton beck for a dare when I was about 11 (we were young and innocent back then and the worst thing a teenager could do was set alight to a stack of hay bales by vigorous rubbing of nylon surfaces together, or run down a school corridoor on the wrong side)
