Thought for the day:
Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but bring a smile to your face when thrown down the stairs
Converting an MFV Fifie trawler type thing.

Having read two of Tony's books (Arguments for socialism and Arguments for Democracy) I can honestly say that Tony is one of histories great men who will be very sadly missed.
He has a great way of portraying socialism as way of the people and the current "Labour party" would do well to remember these views rather than mirror the current Conservative party which seems to be the norm these days in party politics.
I know he was born "with a silver spoon in his mouth" but renounced his title in favour of the working man. He has spent many hours in the house of commons championing the working man and was certainly active during the 80's and 90's in promoting the working man and supporting the many strikes that took place then.
He has supported the Durham gala and been a speaker many times, one of the few to put us at the forefront of his mind. A true fighter for democracy who will be sadly missed. RIPA bad day's fishing is better than a good day at work
