can only describe my experience with thumbbutton .
had braid and mono slip first few times i used it. emailed breakaway who told me to tighten the drag as tight as possible before hammering a cast. have had no problem since. think the cannon is more advanced but atleast the button replicates the multi action.
Punch and pull then let rip

Hello, I like to use a carp anglers Spodding Glove. The one I use is made by Gardner and is only about eight or nine quid.

I use the thumb button when using braid on me FS reel. They are spot on once you get the feel for it. And cheap enough at £2 a time. The one time I tried to cast without the drag locked down the braid cut through the plastic like butter.
        All the gear, no idea.

I figured this one out myself after a nasty experience slicing my nail off...
