True Satnav Story

A woman I work with bought a Tom Tom recently. She lives in Hendon and commutes every day to Shiremoor. Knows the route by now but set off for the first time with the satnav and was obviously a bit taken with it. Got to the Tyne Tunnel and was waiting in front of the barriers fumbling for change, The Tom Tom said - "Go straight ahead" so she drove straight through the barrier A load of people in uniforms swarmed all over her car pointin torches and rolled up newspapers at her. She says she just pointed at the Tom Tom and kept saying "She made me do it" Got let off for being daft obviously.
