  • Congraulations South Africa

Congratualtions to South Africa on winning the world cup, the better team won it in the end. the English players can hold their heads high for the way they came back from a disasterous start. And what a cracking world cup it has been with some of the so called minnows, especially Argentina, doing extremely well. And I bet the rival supporters dont smash the place up either, they will all be patting each other on the back as they have one or two liquid refreshments, once again congratulations South Africa

One of the England players IS Harry Potter - was it that Tate / Tait fella?

    Best team won unfortunately.

Alan there was a bit of jiggery pokkery apparently during the award bit - some chappy in england garb. They didn't show it but jimmy hill or somebody reffered directly to said incident. I blame the parents and clive woodward.

charlie, heard somebody mention something about someone in England shirt, it is prodably that bloke who is always getting his photo taken with sporting personalities dressed in the appropriate attire. Willy would love to be in Paris tonight, feel sorry for my son though he is with his neighbours having a bbq and a few drinks, very nice you may say but his neighbours are in Durban. But bet he still has a good time.

just had a thought Charlie, it didnt have anything to do with Lewis Moody, I believe Ray Moyles (think it was him) dared him to do something

Some South African people say "Blue Cheese" in a funny way. I went there before apartheid had been done away with. Amazing place in all ways shapes and forms. I had a quiet word with a couple of lads after a few bottles and a year later democracy reigned. Probably all down to me, why not?

Better team won as said above, dont think we played badly either just outclassed.
I think we'll be ok for the future,Flood,Tait,Sacky and Wilkinson should still be around for a few years yet plus a few more, hopefully Ashton will be still around as he did well as we were very poor prior to this tournament
                  Cheers Alan...

you forgot about Sheridan, Strettle, Noon, Stevens, Sanderson, lots og good young talent coming through, agree hope Ashton is around for a good time now, have my doubts about Wilkinson, he has punished his body more than most over the years by the time the next world cup comes around he could be struggling, hope i am wrong.

I don't think we've got anything to be ashamed of...as a team we were written off before we'd even landed in Paris at the beginning of the tournament...so to play in the final is a huge achievement

S/Africa were the better team and rightly deserved their win

I am suffering the worst hangover I have suffered in a long time...between 4 of us last night we polished off 3 bottles of wine, two bottles of Magners and a litre of import strength Russian Vodka...have been ill twice already and am going back to bed to continue to die
                      Ooh a new vid!
